This agreement is between GM Marquee Hire & The hirer, you may request a copy of this to be sent via email.

Deposits

​

All Booking deposits which have been paid to GM Marquee Hire for any bookings are completely non-refundable, deposit are paid to show commitment to the booking allowing me to allocate all equipment needed to your booking, which in turn means I turn away other customers asking for the same dates, we strongly advise that you only book if your event is 100% going ahead.

only if GM Marquee Hire is unable to provide the booking for you, for example extreme weather your deposit will be refunded.

Weather conditions

 

The hirer agrees that GM Marquee Hire is not responsible for any interruptions or reduced use of the marquee set-up which have been caused by adverse weather conditions, we will always ensure the set-ups are safe to be installed for the forecasted weather over your rental period, if extreme weather conditions cause any Leaks, cold temperatures or extreme heat inside the marquee which make it unusable we are unable to provide any type of refund for this.

You the hirer also agree you have been instructed on how and when to lower or take down any pop-up gazebo should the wind become to high for it to be safe set-up.

​

If a wind plan has been implemented for your rental (normally rentals longer than 2 weeks) you are fully responsible for following all steps included, any damage to property or person will be your responsibility if not followed properly.

​Damage / Loss or Theft to Rental Equipment

 

The Hirer agrees to full responsibility of taking care of all rental equipment provided, If damage is caused whether accidentally or due to improper use the cost of repair or replacement is the hirers responsibility and will be charged at a “like for like” quotation provided by GM Marquee Hire, we always advise to check all equipment for damages before signing this agreement and of course to take photos for your records, if we conclude damage has occurred from adverse weather conditions this will not be a charged.

If any items are lost or stolen during the rental period the hirer agrees full responsibility and the same charges will apply.

​Damage to property

 

The hirer agrees that GM Marquee Hire is not responsible for damage or loss of property which has been left inside the marquee, any property which comes into the marquee is at the owners risk and is their full responsibility.

 

The Hirer also agrees that GM Marquee Hire is not responsible for any damage caused to any property surrounding the marquee set up during the time of the rental period

Marquee Alterations

 

All of our marquees are set up in the safest way possible, the hirer is not permitted to alter and part of the marquee or how it is secured unless GM Marquee Hire have given specific instructions to do so, any alterations could cause a safety issue & if this happens the hirer bares full responsibility.

​

 

 

Slip, trips & Falls

 

Once the marquee set up is completed GM Marquee Hire will explain where the guy ropes and securing straps are which are the most obvious trip hazard, it is then the hirer responsibility to ensure that all equipment is being used in a safe manner and if any incident occurs which causes damage to someone this is the hirers full responsibility.

​Heated units or cool fans

 

GM Marquee Hire can or does supply heaters fans or heated lights for the marquee set up, we will position the heated lights in a safe location and explain how to use safely, Do Not leave any heated fan or light on whilst unattended and always keep heated fans in an open area not up against sides walls or directly next to an object or person as they need space to function without overheating.

The hirer also agrees they have been fully explained how to use the gas heaters safely and to manufactures guidelines, also to use the heat fence included and no children to be near the unit at anytime, any injury caused by the gas heater is the hirers responsibility.

Track Mat Hire - Terms & Conditions

​

The Hirer agrees full responsibility for any damage caused by the track mats to any property or person, GM Marquee will always follow manufactures guidelines, do not exceed total weight of 60 tons per mat, and always use bindings where possible. 

​

We do offer a collection service for the mats, the same terms apply and you agree to full responsibility for any damage caused to any person or property which involves the mats.

Overall Conclusion of Contract Agreement

​

 

By signing this agreement you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions stated on this 4 page contract agreement.

 

As a summary you are agreeing that GM Marquee Hire is not responsible for any damage to property or person caused by the marquee setup or equipment and that after the set up has been completed you are 100% happy with how it has been installed and have been shown all trip hazards and also how to use all electrical equipment safely.

 

Also that any adverse weather conditions which affect your Marquee set up rental period in any way in NOT a cause for any type of refund.
